About Us

At Drop In Costa Rica, life is about living close to the ocean, embracing adventure, and finding joy in simplicity. What began as a leap into the unknown turned into a way of life — shaped by nature, community, and the rhythm of the waves. We believe in sharing the pura vida spirit: a life rooted in freedom, balance, and connection.

Our Story

Our journey began with a decision to start over. Inspired by the idea of leaving behind routines and chasing a dream, we traded familiar surroundings for the beauty of Costa Rica. Here, between ocean and jungle, we built a new life step by step — carried by curiosity, courage, and a deep love for this place.

Today, Drop In Costa Rica is more than just a name. It’s our story of change, of following the heart, and of creating a home where others can feel the same freedom and inspiration that led us here.

"The house is incredibly private and peaceful, tucked away in the valley but still just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle every morning."

Everything was spotless and well-designed. As a digital nomad, the 100 Mbps fiber internet was rock solid, which is rare for Santa Teresa. Mike was a fantastic host!
