ABOUT US

We are a Swiss family who fulfilled our dream and moved to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in 2013.

In line with our motto “less is more”, we opened our first small but beautiful Simsalabim Jungelow in 2014. In recent years, we have been able to expand our offer to four rental houses.

We also regularly host yoga retreats and TT training sessions. At these events, we are also responsible for the food and beverage offerings for our customers. 

 

Drop in to adventure, find peace and relaxation by the sea and rainforest. 

We call our company Ecofriendly. However, there is always more that can be done for the environment.

 

We are well on our way:

- Solar panels on every house

- Gray water collection and purification 

- Salt water pools

- AC, not required but available

- Ecologically degradable washing and cleaning products 

- Paper bags instead of the “usual” plastic bags for toilet waste

- Recycle glass, aluminum, pet, paper & cardboard

- Ecologically degradable shower/hair shampoos from Bluetec

- Laundry is washed with biodegradable products from Bluetec

 

Happiness is an inside job. Of course you want to see as much of the country as possible, but why not try something different? A few days in one of our houses is a great way to get to know this magical place.

Self-purchased exotic fruits and veggies from the organic market. Roots like turmeric, ginger, yucca that help our body to connect with Pachamama (Mother Earth).
