We are a Swiss family who fulfilled their dream and moved to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in 2013.
In keeping with our life motto - less is more - we opened our first small but beautiful Simsalabim Jungleow in 2014. IN THE LAST YEARS WE HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPAND OUR OFFER TO FOUR RENTAL HOUSES.
We also regularly hold yoga retreats and TT trainings. At these events.
No question, less is more, but you can't get to Costa Rica without getting on the plane!
But when you are here you can immerse yourself in the adventure of peace, sea and rainforest. We call ourselves an eco-business. However, more can still be done for the environment.
Nevertheless, we are on the right track:
- Solar panels on every house
- Gray water collection and cleaning
- Salt water pools
- AC, not required but available
- Ecologically degradable detergents and cleaning products
- Paper bags instead of the “usual” plastic bags in toilets - waste
- recycle glass, aluminum, PET, PAPER & CARDBOARD
6 minutes walk to the dream beach, car recommended but not necessary
Shops and super fine restaurants within walking distance (sushi, homemade Italy, typical local cuisine, plant-based cafe bar)
Happiness is an inside job. Logically you want to see as much of the country as possible, but why not otherwise: 14 days in one of our houses is an excellent way to get to know this magical place.
Self-purchased exotic fruits and veggies from the organic market. Roots like turmeric, ginger, yucca that help our body connect with Pachamama (Mother Earth).
BEACH walks and yoga sessions and of course surfing!
